Establishment of the Company

1994 - Becoming a Publicly Listed Company

1994 marked a significant milestone for PT Primarindo Asia Infrastructure Tbk as it officially became a publicly listed company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

2003 - Launch of the Tomkins Brand

A major turning point for PT Primarindo came in 2003 with the official launch of its in-house brand, Tomkins. This move marked a significant milestone, as the company shifted from being solely a manufacturer to establishing its own retail brand.

Tomkins was designed to cater to the modern consumer, offering stylish, durable, and affordable footwear suitable for various activities. With a strong emphasis on local craftsmanship and global trends, the brand quickly gained popularity, becoming a household name in Indonesia.

The company launched Tomkins-exclusive stores and partnered with leading retailers to increase accessibility. By maintaining a strong brand identity and continually innovating its product line, PT Primarindo ensured that Tomkins remained competitive in the market.

By 2010, PT Primarindo had reached an impressive milestone in its production capacity. The company was manufacturing an average of 3.7 million pairs of shoes per year, translating to approximately 308,000 pairs per month.

This period marked the peak of PT Primarindo's production capabilities, demonstrating its ability to:

  • Meet large-scale market demand without compromising on quality.
  • Optimize production efficiency through advanced machinery and skilled worker.
  • Strengthen its supply chain to ensure a steady flow of raw materials and finished products.

2019 - Continued Innovation

In 2019, PT Primarindo decided to diversify its product range by entering the travel accessories market. This move was aimed at expanding the company's business beyond footwear by manufacturing duffel bags, backpacks, baby bags, and other travel-related products.

This expansion was strategically focused on:

  • Tapping into a growing global demand for travel accessories.
  • Utilizing existing production expertise to enter a new product category.
  • Enhancing export revenue by catering to international markets.

All travel-related products were manufactured exclusively for export, allowing PT Primarindo to strengthen its global presence and increase profitability.
